INGRAM; THOMAS
It is with great sadness that we announce that our dad, Tom Ingram, in his 86th year, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family at his side.
Dad was a funny little man who could make people laugh with his unique sense of humour, and his many quotes he would take from cartoons and movies. Conversations with dad with his strong opinions on the use of the English language, and politics, made visiting dad a happy memory for all those who knew him.
Dad was a mentor to many; his family who were blessed with guidance and wisdom, to students he taught at CFB Kingston, and to many friend’s that he served with in his 38-year career (34 regular service, 4 years C class) in the Canadian military. There are too many to mention.
Waiting for him in heaven is Rita, his wife of 41 years, his brother Bob, and sisters, Joan, Shirley, and Barb.
Dad is survived by his 4 children, Christine Nichols, Brent (Kim) Ingram, Barb (Gary) Storring, Thereasa Ingram (Greg). Grandchildren, Micheal, Candice, Sylvain, Kerriae, Brandon, Caleb, and Charlie, and 6 great grandchildren.
On behalf of dad, our family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the amazing caregivers that came to dad’s home showing nothing but respect and kindness when helping our dad through his last days. A special shoutout to Amy (the cook) for all her gastronomical delight.
There will be a party in dad's honour at a later date.
In Lieu of flowers, please make a donation in dad’s name to your favourite charity.
