Donald John Robertson

Robertson, Donald John: Peacefully at his Home in Rideau Ferry, January 5th, 2021, in his 90th Year after a courageous battle with IPF. Husband of the late Betty Ruth (Seward) Robertson. Special long- time friend of Faye McLellan and her family. Son of the late John Robertson and late Evelyn (Payette) Robertson. Dear Brother of Wilma (Armand) Cosenza of Orleans and Evelyn Robertson (late Bruce Fewtrell) of Chateauguay, Que. Brother- in law of Kaye (late Merwin) Seward, Noreen (Don) Burchill, Sharon (late Bill) Seward, all of Portland, Ontario and the late Orville Seward. Donald will be remembered and missed by his nieces and nephews, especially his Nephew Dan Seward and Family, as well as the many Friday Bridge players for his wit and knowledge of the game, plus his many friends here and the USA. Donald enjoyed and look forward to his Winters in Florida each year.
The entire family would like to extend their appreciation for all of the compassionate care they received from the Bayshore Nurses, Medigas staff, Dr Liu, Dr Chatha and Dr Kuchinad. Due to the care and concern you showed Donald, we were able to carry out his wishes to remain in his home.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions, and as per Donald’s wishes, there will be no wake or funeral. Cremation has taken place.
A private family gathering and graveside service will be held at later date with Inurnment at Halladay Cemetery, Elgin.
