SEWARD; BILL

Billy Elwin Seward passed away December 27, 2020 at the Smiths Falls hospital. He was 86 years old. He and Sharon, the love of his life, were married for 62 years. Bill & Sharon have 4 sons- Dan (Peggy), Roger (Christine), Bradley (1964-1983) and Blake (Ann). Bill was Poppa to Kevin (Natalie), Shane, Wade (Sarah), Carolyne, Danice (Travis), Madeline, Rebecca and Benjamin. He had three great-granddaughters, Morgan, Bridgette and Lydia. Bill will be missed by his sister Noreen (Don) and Sharon’s brother Keith (Peggy) and their family. Bill grew up in the village of Portland, Ontario and was the youngest of five children. He was the son of Ernie and Ethel (Hanna) Seward. He knew and loved the Big Rideau Lake. This spring, Bill’s ashes will be buried beside his son, Brad. May you Rest In Peace Bill.

Condolences to the Seward family. Bill played a large role in my career at Hershey as the Human Resources management he tracked me down and brought me into the Hershey family. I will always be grateful for his efforts that started my 33 year adventure. I will always remember Bill and his kindness to another kid from the Portland area.
