Peacefully at Rosebridge Manor, Easton's Corners on Thursday June 18, 2020. Nancy Douds of Harlem, in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Frank Wykes. Loving mother of Barbara (Ron) Bentley, Marie Cheetham, Kathryn (Alex) Poole, Ronald (Debbie) Wykes, Gerald (Cheryl) Wykes, Janet Wykes, Mary (Don) Dearden, Brian (Linda) Wykes, Terry (Nick) Marych, Kenneth (Shelly) Wykes and James (Barb) Wykes, Predeceased by son, Charles and daughter, Elinor. Dear sister of Faye (Bill) Riley, Kaye VonMinden and Sam (Norma) Douds. Predeceased by sister; Georgina Douds. Sadly missed by 27 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by grandsons; Jeremy Chant, Sebastion Call and Joey Wykes. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by nephews, Sam and David Douds. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a Private Family Service will be held followed by a Celebration of Life at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to Delta United Church or the Children's Wish Foundation would be appreciated.

Mom worked so hard all her life, after all she was Grampa Douds first "boy". Here she is when younger and enjoying some hay time and wearing her first pair of shorts (Singleton Farm, Aug 1943). Miss you already, Love Marie

A couple of pictures from 2014. Ken and Shelley are missing from pic. The poem is actually a verse from the poem mum wrote for Charlie's celebration in 2010. Thought it was a nice sentiment to share again.
