Sincere condolences to Brian’s family. I always enjoyed visits with him when he would come in to The Junction Restaurant. There was always a lot of joking around. He will be missed.

My deepest sympathies to Brian’s family. I had the privilege of working with Brian for many years at the Ministry of Transportation. Brian worked as a surveyor for much of his career with MTO and contributed to many projects that make up or highway network in Eastern Ontario. Brian loved his work and being outdoors. Being a true ‘field man’ It was always difficult to keep him in the office for any period of time. I have especially fond memories while working together with Brian on a survey crew. Regardless of what we were tasked to do, Brian would make sure things got done and making us laugh along the way.
I will always remember Brian as being calm, incredibly good natured and one who always brought a smile to the faces of people who interacted with him. I know he will be missed by many of the ‘Surveys and Plans’ team as well as other MTO folks who had the pleasure of knowing Brian. RIP Brain!

It has been so many years since I’ve seen my cousin Brian, but I remember my childhood vacations spent in Morton with fond memories. Lots of laughs ... and games and adventures with Brian, Bruce and Heather. Brian was always so jovial (and a bit of a prankster). I’m so sorry my siblings (Sharon and Bill) and my mom (Jacquie Bryden) and I won’t be able to make the celebration of life today. Our hearts go out to the whole family. Love Patti

Although I was only young when we moved away from Elgin, I still have very fond memories of our time there and our return visits. Most of those memories include Brian. My parents and sister (Milt, Joanne, and Kari Sloan) and I spent a lot of time with the Wills family and we still reminisce about our times together. I will always remember the goofy faces he made at us kids, and his kind eyes.
We are all extremely saddened to hear of Brian's passing, and would like to pass on our condolences to his family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, today and always. xo, Jeanette Howell
