Born at a time when people were still using horses and carriages for transportation and creeks & cisterns for water. Born the year after the zipper ( as we know it ) was invented and in the year women won the right to vote in federal elections in Canada. A mere baby just before the ending of World War 1. A toddler when Insulin was discovered - A pre-schooler when the first snowmobile was invented and produced - lived through the Great Depression - and the list goes on and on. They say people come into our live's for a reason - whether it be as a lesson or a blessing. Well this lady came into our lives 12 years ago when we moved in next store to her and she was without any doubt - a true blessing. From that day onward we became fast friends. Not everybody can say they had a special someone - a special friend in their lives who lived almost to their 101 birthday - but I'm honored to say - that we did. Our lives have been enriched knowing you and having you in it and we will certainly miss you my friend. RIP Irene ox Love: Tammy & Ron
